“The Church will be in eclipse, the world will be in dismay.” ~ Mélanie Calvat, seer of La Salette, 1846.
Mélanie added, “I didn’t see, I don’t see any Great Pope or Great Monarch before an extremely great tribulation, horrifying, terrible and general for all Christendom. But before that time, twice there will be a short lived peace; two shaky, servile, doubtful popes.”
This blog was created primarily to keep readers abreast of Gabriel’s Trumpet, set to initiate the Great Tribulation. To that end, Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, who last year called on Pope Francis to resign, and who has since been holed up in a secure location, delivered a recent address to the Catholic Identity Conference, sponsored by Michael Matt’s Remnant Press.
Viganò spoke of an “eclipse of the Church” (video below), tossing in other arcane apocalyptic terms like, “Ministry of Iniquity,” (2 Thessalonians 2:7); “Church of the Antichrist(s), (First and Second Epistles of John);” New World Order, (Daniel 7:23), and “I [God] will put enmity between you [the serpent] and the Woman, and between your offspring and hers,” (Genesis 3:15).
Clearly, Viganò hears a trumpet tuning.
The dark eclipse of the “Church of the Antichrist” is upon us now. The term refers loosely to all pontificates since Vatican II, to modernism, the synthesis of all heresies, according to Pope St Pius X (1907), and to the New World Order. The NWO envisages the Catholic Church as its humanistic religious adjunct subservient to its authoritarian rule. An Ecumenical Church of Universal Brotherhood, a term that would make any Free Mason chirp with joy. That is clearly where Pope Francis is headed. Tuesday’s election in the U.S. will take us a step closer to or a step further away from that terrifying reality.
Ecumenism is another word for Globalism. What many fail to understand is that the steel rod that represents the Holy Catholic Church doesn’t bend. At least, it’s not supposed to. But Pope Francis is an accommodating kinda guy in the spirit of Pachamama.
Back to the two popes and how to understand this peculiarity. Pope Benedict XVI resigned only his day-to-day ministerial duties as Pope and Bishop of Rome. He retained the supernatural character and the Universal Primacy of the Petrine Office, often referred to as the munus. Pope Francis is Bishop of Rome, legitimately elected by the Cardinals, each of whom is titular head of a particular Church in the Diocese of Rome. It’s murky but one could consider Francis as being equivalent to an Orthodox Patriarch.
Accordingly, the Seat of St Peter is not vacant (sede vacante), rather it is simultaneously occupied by two popes (sedes duo or something similar).
After all, Pope Benedict still wears white and wears the papal ring, he lives in the Vatican, offers Apostolic blessings, and titled himself Pope Emeritus, noted Life Site News in an excellent piece about the Church’s present dilemma.
The following article was lifted from an interview by Francesco Boezi with Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò as published in The Remnant Newspaper on October 1, 2020. The piece underscores the importance of the November election. Here’s a snippet:
“If Trump loses the presidential elections, the final kathèkon [withholder] will fail (2 Thess 2:6-7), that which prevents the “mystery of iniquity” from revealing itself, and the dictatorship of the New World Order, which has already won Bergoglio [Pope Francis] over to its cause, will have an ally in the new American President.”
Here’s the complete article:
Archbishop Viganò, why did you write a letter in favor of President Trump?
On August 14, 2011, Pope Benedict XVI let me know that it was his conviction that at that moment my providential position was the Nunciature in the United States of America. This is what he wrote to me: “I would like to tell you that I have reflected and prayed with reference to your condition after the recent events. The sad news of the passing away of His Excellency Archbishop Pietro Sambi has confirmed in me the conviction that your providential position at this moment is the Nunciature in the United States of America. On the other hand, I am certain that your knowledge of this great country will help you to undertake the demanding challenge of this work, which in many ways will prove decisive for the future of the universal Church.”
My official assignment in that immense and beloved country has ended, but the challenge to which Pope Benedict referred to almost prophetically, and in which he chose to involve me, is still present more than ever; indeed, it has become ever more dramatic, taking on tremendous dimensions: the destiny of the world is being played out at this hour precisely on the American front.
Now that I am free from my official assignment, the inspiration confided to me by Pope Benedict permits me to address President Trump with the utmost freedom, pointing out his role in the national and international context and how decisive his mission is in the epochal confrontation that has been unfolding in recent months.
An epochal confrontation? Really?
It appears today that the Holy See is being assaulted by enemy forces. I speak as a Bishop, as a Successor of the Apostles. The silence of the shepherds is deafening and upsetting. Some bishops even prefer to support the New World Order, aligning themselves with the positions of Bergoglio and Cardinal Parolin who, as a frequenter of the Bilderberg Club, has slavishly submitted to its diktats, like so many politicians as well as the mainstream media.
I am persuaded that everything I denounced in my open letter to President Trump last June is still valid and can form an interpretive key to understanding the events that we are living through. It remains an invitation to have hope.
The Catholic Church in America, both in relation to the presidential elections and more generally, appears to be split. The Pope says that dividing is a work of the devil, but the fracturing of the American episcopate is obvious. What is happening?
The split within the American episcopate is the result of an ideological action carried out since the 1960’s especially within Catholic universities – and by the Jesuits in particular – in the formation of entire generations of young people. Progressive indoctrination (on the political front) and modernist indoctrination (on the religious front) have created an ideological support for 1968 which began with the Second Vatican Council, as Benedict XVI confirmed in his essay “Principles of Catholic Theology”: “Adherence to an anarchic and utopian Marxism […] was supported on the front lines by many chaplains of universities and youth associations, who saw the blossoming of Christian hopes there. The dominant fact is found in the events of May 1968 in France. There were Dominicans and Jesuits on the barricades. The intercommunion that was held during an ecumenical Mass in support of the barricades was considered as a kind of milestone in salvation history, a sort of revelation that inaugurated a new era of Christianity.”
This split in the United States, which today has become even more obvious as the presidential elections approaches, is also widespread in Europe and Italy: the highest levels of the Church have desired to make a radical – and in my opinion unfortunate – choice, preferring to follow the mainstream thought of environmentalism, immigrationism, and the LGBT ideology, rather than courageously standing up against them and faithfully proclaiming the salvific Truth announced by Our Lord. This choice took a great leap forward beginning in 2013 with the election of Jorge Mario Bergoglio, but it goes back to at least almost sixty years ago. It is significant that even then the Jesuits – and all of the Catholic intelligentsia of the Left – looked to Mao’s China as a privileged interlocutor, almost a driving force behind the alleged social renewal, just as today La Civiltà Cattolica of Spadaro, S.J., looks to Xi Jinping’s China. The Jesuits, who supported the guerillas in Latin America and who were on the French barricades in May of ‘68, today use social media to make similar claims, always with their eyes turned towards Beijing while carrying the same hatred towards America.
It is true that division is the work of the devil: Satan sows division between man and his Creator, between the soul and Grace. The Lord, however, does not divide but separates: He creates a boundary between the City of God and the City of Satan, between those who serve the Lord and those who fight against Him. He himself will separate the just from the wicked on the Day of Judgment (Mt 25:31-46), after having placed himself “as a stumbling stone” (Rom 9:32-33). Separating light from darkness, good from evil, according to the teaching of the Lord, is necessary if we want to follow Christ and renounce Satan. But it is also necessary to separate when we choose who best protects the rights and Faith of Catholics from those who only nominally proclaim themselves to be Catholic while in fact promoting laws that are clearly opposed to both divine and natural law. Just as the Shepherd who warns the flock about the attacks of the wolves is also divisive (Jn 10:1-18).
Accusing Trump of not being Christian solely because of the fact that he wants to protect national borders; evoking the specter of sovereignism as a disaster while human trafficking is allowed; remaining silent in the face of the persecution of Christians in China and elsewhere, or silent before the thousands of profanations of churches that have been happening for months all over the world: is not all this divisive?
Joe Biden is pro-abortion, but some American Catholic circles seem to overlook this aspect. Look, for example, at James Martin. What do you think?
Father James Martin, S.J., is the standard bearer of the LGBT ideology, and despite this – indeed, because of this – he was appointed by Bergoglio as Consultor of the Holy See’s Secretariat for Communications. His work – which is truly “divisive” in the worst sense of the term – serves to strengthen a fifth column of the progressive agenda within the ecclesial body, so as to create an ideological and doctrinal split within the Church and to make people believe that the demands of progressivism, including the so-called homoheresy, come from the ground up. In reality we know well that the faithful are much less inclined to innovations than public opinion is led to believe, and that the desire to show that there is a supposed “will of the people” in order to legitimize choices incompatible with the perennial teaching of the Church is a ploy which has been used both at the ecclesial level (think of the liturgical reform, which nobody asked for) as well as at the civil level (for example, with gender ideology).
Permit me to recall the words of American Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen (1895-1979): “The refusal to take sides on great moral issues is itself a decision. It is a silent acquiescence to evil. The tragedy of our time is that those who still believe in honesty lack fire and conviction, while those who believe in dishonesty are full of passionate conviction.” We learn to separate who is with Christ from who is against Him, since it is not possible to serve two masters.
You have spoken of the “Deep Church”. Is it really possible that one exists? Who composes it?
The expression “Deep Church” gives a good idea of what is happening in a parallel way at the political and ecclesial level. The strategy is the same, just as the goals are the same, and, in the final analysis, the mens that is behind it. In this sense, the “Deep Church” is for the Church what the “Deep State” is for the State: a foreign body that is illegal, subversive and deprived of any sort of democratic legitimacy that uses the institution in which it is embedded to achieve goals that are diametrically opposed to the goals of the institution itself.
One example is John Podesta (pictured below with Hillary Clinton), a “Catholic” liberal and Democrat, a former collaborator of Bill and Hillary Clinton, who is tied to John Halpin’s Center For American Progress. In an email of February 11, 2012, Sandy Newman wrote to Podesta asking him for directions on how to “plant seeds of a revolution” in the Church in matters of contraception, abortion, and gender equality. Podesta responded by confirming that in order to obtain this “springtime of the Church” (note the echo of the idea of the “conciliar springtime”) the organizations Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good and Catholics United had been created. These ultra-progressive associations have been financed by George Soros, just as he has financed Jesuit foundations and Bergoglio’s apostolic visit to the United States in 2015.
We should also recall the conspiracy of the Saint Gallen Mafia, which sought to oust Benedict XVI, in concert with Obama and Clinton who saw Joseph Ratzinger as an obstacle to the spread of the globalist agenda.
As a Catholic and as a bishop, how do you judge what Trump has done?
I limit myself to observing what Trump has done during his term as President. He has defended the life of the unborn, cutting funding from the abortion multinational, Planned Parenthood, and just in recent days he has issued an executive order that requires immediate care for newborns who are not killed by abortion: up until now they were allowed to die or they were exploited by harvesting their organs and selling them. Trump is fighting pedophilia and pedosatanism. He has not started any new war and he has drastically reduced the existing ones by obtaining peace agreements. He has restored God’s right of citizenship, after Obama had even gone so far as to cancel Christmas and impose measures that were repugnant to the religious soul of Americans.
And I also observe the media war that has been waged by the press and the centers of power against the President: he has been demonized since 2016, despite the fact that he democratically obtained a majority of votes. It is well understood that the hatred against Trump – which is not dissimilar to what happens in Italy in the face of much softer members of the opposition – finds its real motivation in the awareness of his fundamental role in the battle against the Deep State and all of its internal and external ramifications. His courageous denunciation of Communism – of which Antifa and BLM are the global versions while the Chinese dictatorship is the incubator – serves in some measure to remedy the silence of the Church, which despite the heartfelt appeals of the Blessed Virgin Mary at Fatima and La Salette has preferred not to renew its condemnation of this infernal ideology. And if Bishop Sanchez Sorondo can declare with impunity, against all the evidence, that China is the best implementer of the social doctrine of the Church, we can rejoice over the words of the President of the United States and the no less courageous words of his Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
It appears that Bergoglio will now not meet with the US Secretary of State [during Pompeo’s trip to Italy this week].
We have now come to the point of paradox, indeed of the ridiculous. Certain attitudes seem more suited to the whims of an undisciplined schoolboy rather than prudence and diplomatic protocol. Pompeo denounced the violation of human rights in China and received a sharp response from Santa Marta: And I won’t play anymore. These are unworthy behaviors which are beginning to cause feelings of undisguised shame even among members of Bergoglio’s magic circle. Not only will he not receive the Secretary of State so as not to hear it said to him ore rotundo that the United States will not stand by watching idly as the Church hands itself over into the hands of a ferocious dictatorship, but he did not even respond to Cardinal Zen’s request for an audience, confirming the specific intention of the Vatican to renew its submission to the Chinese Communist Party.
Did you organize a Rosary for Trump, and, if so, why?
I was urged by many people to launch this initiative, and I did not hesitate to join it, becoming the promoter of this spiritual crusade. This is a war without quarter, in which Satan has been unchained and the gates of hell are trying in every way to prevail over the Church herself. Such a contradiction must be faced above all with prayer, with the invincible weapon of the Holy Rosary.
The involvement of Catholics in politics, under the guidance of their pastors, constitutes their concrete action as citizens who are members both of the Mystical Body of Christ as well as human society. Catholics are not “disassociated” people who believe that God is the Author and Lord of Life when they go to church, but then, at the ballot box or as elected officials, approve of the killing of innocent children.
This action of the natural order is accompanied – indeed it must be accompanied – by the awareness that human affairs, as well as social and political events, have a transcendent spiritual dimension, in which the intervention of Divine Providence is always the determining factor. For this reason, Catholics do not extract themselves from the world, they do not flee from the political arena, passively waiting for the Lord to intervene with bolts of lightning, but, on the contrary, they give meaning to their daily action, to their commitment in society, giving it a soul, a supernatural purpose.
Prayer, in this sense, calls down from the Lord of the world and history those graces and the special help which only He can give both to the actions of private citizens as well as to the work of those who govern. And if in the past even pagan kings were able to be instruments of the good in the hands of God, this can happen still today, at a moment in which the Biblical battle between the children of darkness and the children of light has reached a crucial point.
What scenarios await the Catholics of the world if Trump should lose?
If Trump loses the presidential elections, the final kathèkon [withholder] will fail (2 Thess 2:6-7), that which prevents the “mystery of iniquity” from revealing itself, and the dictatorship of the New World Order, which has already won Bergoglio over to its cause, will have an ally in the new American President.
Joe Biden does not have his own identity: he is only the expression of a power that does not dare reveal itself for what it truly is and that is hiding itself behind a person who is totally incapable of holding the office of President of the United States, also because of his weakened mental capabilities; but it is precisely in his weakness for pending complaints, in his ability to be blackmailed for conflicts of interest, that Biden reveals himself as a marionette maneuvered by the elites, a puppet in the hands of people thirsting for power and ready to do anything to expand it.
We would find ourselves facing an Orwellian dictatorship desired by both the “Deep State” and the “Deep Church,” in which the rights that today are considered fundamental and inalienable would be trampled with the complicity of mainstream media.
I want to emphasize that the universal religion desired by the United Nations and Freemasonry has active collaborators at the highest levels of the Catholic Church who usurp authority and adulterate the Magisterium. They are opposing the Mystical Body of Christ, which is mankind’s only ark of salvation, with the mystical body of the Antichrist, according to the prophecy of the Venerable Archbishop Fulton Sheen. Ecumenism, Malthusian environmentalism, pan-sexualism, and immigrationism are the new dogmas of this universal religion, whose ministers are preparing the advent of the Antichrist prior to the final persecution and the definitive victory of Our Lord. But just as the glorious Resurrection of the Savior was preceded by His Passion and Death, so too is the Church journeying towards her own Calvary; and just as the Sanhedrin thought that it would eliminate the Messiah by crucifying Him, so the infamous sect believes that the eclipse of the Church is a prelude to its end. A “tiny remnant” remains, made up of fervent Catholics, just as the Mother of God, Saint John, and Mary Magdalene remained at the foot of the Cross.
We know that the destiny of the world is not in the hands of men, and that the Lord has promised that He will not abandon His Church: “the gates of hell shall not prevail” (Mt 16:18). The words of Christ are the rock of our hope: “Behold, I am with you all days, until the end of the world” (Mt 28:20).
I penned this statement below as a comment on Church Militant’s latest video, which you can view here.
“If it’s “game on,” shouldn’t we embrace Sedevacantism? How can we possibly recognize the veracity of the Post-councilor Popes, who are clearly heretical and becoming more so? Personally, I think it’s time for us to form a Remnant under the tutelage and spiritual direction of Archbishop Viganò. Failure to do so, especially since we all agree with the opinions expressed in this video, constitutes lukewarmness and fence-sitting. I wish The Vortex would produce a video explaining why the middle ground position is even tenable for the faithful. The mealymouthed hierarchy of the Church is clearly apostate.”
Christ said, “I prefer ye be hot or cold, but if ye be lukewarm, I will spew you out of my mouth.” (Rev 3:15-16)
Harsh words. The Church of Laodicea, to whom this admonition was addressed, was in the first century a large and prosperous city in Asia Minor. Jesus accuses them of relying upon their wealth and of being ‘in need of nothing,’ not even aid from Rome when their city was ravaged by an earthquake. They valued wealth and self-sufficiency above all else, including the word of God.
Today’s Laodicea is Vatican City. Look at the place! Is this what Jesus really had in mind? Is this grotesque opulence what St. Francis of Assisi taught?
“Recognize and resist,” as promulgated by the traditionalist movement in Roman Catholicism, is the epitome of lukewarm. It’s not a position at all. It is an apathetic cop-out; a willy-nilly half-measure that should indeed be “spit out.” The R&R Movement, as it’s called, shakes hands with the devil by acknowledging Pope Francis is a heretic but ‘resisting,’ whatever than means.
Given the imminent threats of globalism and decadent victory parades of pachamamas in drag, the time is nigh to choose Christ and His Mother without equivocation and to anathematize the “Recognize and Resist” mushy middle ground. The Church is cold. Let us be hot, not lukewarm.
“One must resist the Pope who openly destroys the Church.” (St. Cajetan)
The Novus Ordo rite is a new protestant religion. “To safeguard the integrity of the Faith, he [Pope Leo XIII] insists, is a duty that belongs to each one of the faithful and not just those with power of rule. Further, one who keeps silence in face of error is repulsive to God and unworthy of eternal salvation.”
“I hear all around me innovators who wish to dismantle the Sacred Chapel, destroy the universal flame of the Church, reject her ornaments, and make her feel remorse for her historical past.” The future Pope Pius XII spoke these words in 1931 years before the nascent Vatican II Church began in earnest to reveal their modernist vision of la revolución.
Imagine a post-apocalyptic disfigured Risen Christ with a half-human, half-reptilian head emerging from a nuclear bomb crater seeping vapors of toxic smoke. Wait! There’s no need to imagine such an outrageous sacrilege and blasphemy. Here’s the photo.
The Vatican Audience Hall was inaugurated in 1971. The sinister bronze sculpture titled La Resurrezione was added in 1977.
Novus Ordo Watch, a lay-led internet apostolate, observed, “…comments randomly found around the internet use terms like “bizarre”, “frightening”, “ugly”, “ghoulish”, a “monstrosity”, “evilly horrific”, “demonic”, “gruesome”, “terrifying”, “depressing”, “strikingly weird”, “dark”, “oddly nightmarish”, and “Satanic looking”.
“So, suffice it to say, no one’s going to confuse it with the spiritually uplifting works of great Catholic artists from the past. But why must it be so diametrically opposite to the spirit of true sacred art? The compulsion to debase that which is holy, inherent in theological Modernism, necessarily carries over to its counterparts in other fields — it cannot do otherwise.”
Forsaking appeal to “conspiracy theories,’ the ill-omened forces behind la revolución in ‘other fields’ are on display quite clearly today in many American cities, e.g. Portland, Seattle, New York, Chicago and, somewhat surprisingly, Louisville, Kentucky. All these and other revolutionary hot spots are unsurprisingly governed by Marxist revolutionaries masquerading as patriots. Christianity and Democracy are under attack in our world.
As a fan of sedevacantist what ifs, the Nova Ordo Watch article (the full piece is linked below) went on to add:
“And to throw in a distinctly sedevacantist what if?, there’s a certain conspiracy theory centered around the year 1958. This is just meant as a bit of fun speculation, but according to the so-called Siri Thesis, in that year Genoa’s Cardinal Giuseppe Siri was elected pope but was pressured to resign before he could appear on the balcony of St. Peter’s.
“According to one version, he was forced out by being told that if he didn’t, a nuclear strike would be launched on Rome, wiping out the Vatican and the entire college of cardinals, which was gathered there in conclave. As a result of his resignation, the suspected Rosicrucian Freemason Angelo Roncalli became Antipope John XXIII — and the rest, as they say, is history.”
John XXIII was to have been a simple caretaker pope. An elderly (76) Pontifical placeholder when elected pope in 1958, he wasn’t expected to make waves, only to afford the Cardinal electors a little breathing room and some time to regroup. At least, that was the public narrative. The reality, as detailed in the Novus Ordo piece, was quite different. Shockingly, this new pope convened a Second Vatican Council, which bequeathed to us the modern church – a church in misery embroiled in a host of heresy and corruption.
“As a web site, Novus Ordo Watch has been in operation since the fall of 2002. Our primary target audience is good-willed souls in the Novus Ordo Church who are realizing that something is woefully wrong and amiss about their religion but lack sufficient information to see the whole picture.”
Today is the feast day of Rosa Mystica, one of the many titles of Our Lady included in the Litany of Loreto.
Today also is the anniversary of an apparition in Fatima, Portugal, when the much debated “Third Secret” was imparted to the seers.
The Rosa Mystica apparitions took place in Montichiari, a small town in northern Italy, mostly in 1947. Interestingly, there’s a connection between Rosa Mystica and Our Lady of Fatima.
During an apparition in December 1947, seer Pierina Gilli asked, “Who are the two children at your side?” The Blessed Mother replied, “Jacinta and Francesco. They will be your companions in all your suffering. They too have suffered, though they were much younger than you.”
As I mentioned in a previous blog, the three shepherd children, Jacinta and Francesco Marto and their cousin Lucia dosSantos, experienced apparitions of Mary for 6 consecutive months beginning in May, 1917. Jacinta and Francesco passed away as children. Sister Lucy became a nun. The famous Miracle of the Sun, which was seen by many and reported by the secular press, occurred in Fatima on October 13, 1917.
Litany of Loreto

The Amazonian Synod convened in Rome on October 6, 2019. This is an important date because on that same day an apparition returned to visit Visionary Sr. Agnes Sasagawa, 88, of Akita, Japan, telling her to “put on ashes” and begin praying a penitential rosary daily. More about Sister Agnes in a moment.
Among the proposals set forth in the Vatican’s working document for the Amazon Synod was a beggar-belief hodgepodge of heretical schemes, including married priests, women deacons, pantheistic idolatry (Pachamama), inculturation and adapting Christian liturgies to non-Catholic cultures, etc.
In addition to the opening of the Amazonian Synod, October 6, 2019, also marked the first time Sr. Agnes had received a visitation and message from the Virgin Mary in over 30-years. The new message instructing Agnes to “put on ashes and pray a daily rosary,” hints at the Bible story of Jonah and deserves our immediate attention. For my part, it was as if Mary herself said, “The Amazonian Synod is the tipping point in a chaotic world and could result in global misery.” What kind of a misery? Mary had forewarned of that back in 1973:
“Fire will fall from the sky and will wipe out a great part of humanity, the good as well as the bad, sparing neither priests nor faithful. The survivors will find themselves so desolate that they will envy the dead..”
To refresh your memory, Jonah put on sackcloth and set out to warn the Ninevites at a time when this wealthy Babylonian city was one of the largest cities in the world. Jonah delivered a dire warning from God that the demise of Nineveh was imminent unless they repented and shifted their gaze toward Him. The Ninevites obeyed and their city was spared.
The implication of receiving a similar message from Mary in our time is apparent and made even more so by the conspicuous timing of Sr. Sasagawa’s apparition, which coincided with the opening of the Amazonian Synod.
In chaos theory, a tipping point can occur when radical change on a massive scale is triggered. A well known analogy from chaos theory known as the Butterfly Effect tells of a butterfly that flaps its wings in Brazil and causes a tornado in Texas – the point being that seemingly small and insignificant changes in a dynamical field can radically influence future outcomes. The spiraling, destructive force of a tornado is apt symbolism for the Butterfly Effect.
We observe that two cornerstones of Western Civilization, America and the Church, have enjoyed relative metaphysical harmony since WWII, a war Mary warned us of during her Fatima apparitions in 1917. Today, however, events occurring in both America and Rome surely conform to anyone’s criteria for “radical change.” We best heed Our Lady’s warning.
We have many non-Catholic Christians as well as unaffiliated spiritual people who follow our blogs. The Akita warning via Sr. Agnes applies to us all. For my part, I have great love for the Divine Feminine, however conceptualized. Nothing about Pachamama, per se, offends me, nor should it offend anyone else; all cultures have (or have had) their mythologies, heroes and villains, a fact 21st century fussbudgets might take into account.
That said, any Christian or Jew who “worships” Pachamama violates the First Commandment, which forbids idolatry. When Pope Francis placed a statuette of Pachamama on the altar of St. Peter’s Basilica, in the eyes of many Christians he gave a wink and a nod to idolatry. Many in the Church have called this heretical.
The title of this blog, Sedevacantist II, is admittedly abstruse. But in the overall context of Spiritual Warfare, it behooves the Apostles of the Last Days to become better acquainted with the details of the ongoing existential crisis in the Church of Rome. As I’ve written previously, the Vatican is the epicenter of two warring vanguards: The Children of Light and The Children of Darkness.
We selected Francisco and Jacinta, the visionaries of Fatima, Portugal, to be the inspirational avatars of the Children of Light for this piece. The 1917 secrets of Fatima are particularly germane to eschatology, i.e. the Christian End Times. Although public revelation ended when humanity received all that’s required for salvation, private revelations, such as those in Fatima and Medjugorje continue.
“Surely the Sovereign LORD does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets.” (Amos 3:7)
While it is dubious that the full text of the highly anticipated Third Secret of Fatima was ever fully released by the Church, the future Pope Benedict XVI, then Cardinal Ratzinger, did confirm that its contents were virtually identical to the Third Secret of Akita (1973). Here is a portion of the 1973 Akita secret:
“The work of the devil will infiltrate even into the Church in such a way that one will see cardinals opposing cardinals, bishops against bishops. The priests who venerate me will be scorned and opposed by their confreres…churches and altars sacked; the Church will be full of those who accept compromises and the demon will press many priests and consecrated souls to leave the service of the Lord.“
A sedevacantist is one who believes the Chair (sede) of St Peter is now vacant and that Pope Francis is illegitimate, mostly for these two reasons. First, many Catholics, including prominent theologians, refer to him as an injudicious heretic more concerned with gay rights, climate change, U.N. dictates and migrant affairs than with the sanctity of the Magisterium. In other words, he is a globalist.
Secondly, it is my personal belief, shared by others, that Pope Benedict’s resignation, were it even canonically possible for a Pope to resign, impacted only his temporal duties – the day-to-day tasks and function of the papacy. Benedict himself has admitted as much; it is not feasible to renounce the office: “..the office [munus] enters into your very being,” wrote Benedict. Not the “function” or “ministry,” but the office itself!
In other words, the Petrine office becomesontologicallyimbued within a newly elected pope when he is coronated. This mystical transformation, however, occurred at that precise moment, nunc sacri, Cardinal Bergoglio (Pope Francis) responded “yes” following his election; it became an irrevocablefiat. Ergo, Pope Benedict XVI unequivocally remains the Pontiff of the Holy Catholic Church and shall remain so until his death.
So what happens then? Will Pope Francis be summarily legitimized? No, not at all! The Chair of St Peter will continue to remain vacant. Another conclave will necessarily have to be called to elect a legitimate pope – most doubt that will ever happen. Many traditional Catholics consider all popes since Vatican II illegitimate; that the Holy See has been vacant since Pope Pius XII. Hence, the title of this blog, Sedevacantist II.
“I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” (Mt. 16:19)
Rome should adhere to God’s rules. Rampant homosexual pedophilia and sexual deviancy, endless cover ups, financial corruption, false ecumenism, false teachings, plus a host of other errors routinely bubbling up from the Ministry of Inequity pervade the modern Church and have for many years across many papacies. What pervades the Church pervades the world; “As above, so below.”
Following Pope Benedict’s eventual passing, should Pope Francis refuse to convene a second papal conclave, effectually submitting his papacy to a vote of confidence, he might well be considered a de facto antichrist. Some already think he is the antichrist. Consequently, the Church of Rome would likely become schismatic. Sadly, future events may unfold along these lines. The antichrist is defined as one who will lead the faithful away from the truth by preaching heresy and blasphemy.
It’s also possible that Pope Emeritus Benedict could convene a Council. Professor Daniel O’Connor recently opined, “Throughout the history of the Church, there has been a great number of ways in which the details of Papal Election have transpired. Even if it is not the canonically ordinary way to convoke a new conclave, we are not exactly living in canonically ordinary times, and entertaining the possibility that a genuine prophecy could speak of a Pope Emeritus being the one to even informally call the Cardinals together to elect a new Pope should not even be considered such a stumbling block, much less considered as heretical.” The ‘prophecy’ O’Connor refers to was given by Fr. Michel Rodrigue, whose “Virtual Retreat” we highly recommend.
John makes clear in his letters that the spirit of the antichrist is “of the world’ and not of God. (1 John 4:4-6) “Children, it is the last hour; and just as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists have appeared. This is how we know it is the last hour.” (1 John 2:18)
The Apostles of the Last Days is a phrase that dates back to 1846 and the apparitions of Our Lady of La Salette, France, that were witnessed by two shepherd children. Mary said to one of the visionaries:
Finally I call on the Apostles of the Last Days…It is time they came out and filled the world with light. Go and reveal yourselves as My cherished children. I am on your side and within you, provided your faith is the light which shines upon you in these unhappy days. May your zeal make you hungry for the glory and the honor of Jesus Christ. Fight children of light, you, the few who can see. For now is the time of all times, the end of all ends.
Over the years, there have been several failed attempts to establish a religious order named The Apostles of the Last Days. Our order, however, is a secular (not religious) lay order. You can become a member of the order simply by subscribing to our blog with the Follow button below. There are no fees or pleas.
While it’s unusual to form an ecumenical Christian order consisting entirely of lay persons, it’s not unprecedented. There are several such orders active today in the U.S. Most stem from various private revelations over the last 25 years. Most obey simple rules, whereas the Pius IX Ordo Secularus imposes no rule at all. We do, however, make a few suggestions, which I will address in greater depth in a future blog. For now, may we suggest a couple of things?
Read up on Blessed Pope Pius XI’s inspiring life. He is the patron of our order. It was Pope Pius IX who formally approved the La Salette apparitions in 1851.
Pay close attention to what’s going on inside the Vatican. The Catholic Church, like the United States, finds itself in deep crisis. Whether you’re a Catholic or not, the vanguard of the battle against the Children of Darkness is in Rome. The war we fight is a spiritual war. Christian members need to set their differences aside to become effective Apostles of the Last Days.
Study Mary’s continuing role in human affairs. She is your mother. If you already have affinity for the Blessed Mother, you will feel quite at home in this community. If you find the Blessed Mother to be somewhat off-putting, as many Protestants naturally do, please open your heart and mind. In these times, devotion to Mary makes daily life far less difficult. To begin, I suggest prayerful meditation on her Immaculate Heart. The United States was consecrated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 2006. Under that mantle, she is our patroness.
We Christians all pray to the same God and most of us are Trinitarians. We read from essentially the same Bible. Far more unites us than separates us.
Know that unity is vitally important today. The forces of darkness exist to divide us. We must resist these forces with all our might – the spiritual forces of hate, anger and perpetual negativity.
